Just wanted everyone or anyone to know that may read my blog that I took a break from blogging after the Huckabee candidacy to develop my new business ventures. After also keeping some very, very, late hours into the wee hours of the morning due to a long time insomnia problem that i have been struggling with, particularly over the last 6 months, I am happy to report that I am finally getting more sleep than the usual 3-4 hours a night which is a welcomed blessing in my life and why I haven’t been blogging in the last month. It is my desire to get back to regular blogging as soon as I can recover some semblance of stability with my time and daily routine.

Much of my time lately is being spent in addressing many day to day challenges in my personal life, while trying to learn how to develop a website for my new business venture. I have embarked upon the all time consuming pursuit of web design so as to learn how to design my own business website with Dreamweaver MX 2004. I have to say that lynda.com has made my learning experience so much easier than it could have been without it.

Web design is one of the many things i do enjoy and hope one day to be better at. My father whose career was in advertising design and paste up would have been in heaven if he were alive today and had access to web design software. In his time, he was excellent at his craft which commanded a certain demand for meticulousness and patience using traditional paper layouts and paste ups for articles and magazines going to print. Oh what fun he would have had if he had lived long enough to indulge in the software design applications of today. He might also have been pulling his hair out too at the same time. However, web design has its own down side. It can be very time consuming, especially when trying to straighten out errors. Thank God for the “Undo” function!! The fact that there is always new application features to keep up with sort of makes web design like everything else in computer technology,”forever learning and never coming to the knowledge of truth,” if I may quote a bible scripture. Modern web design takes a certain persistence, meticulousness and patience of its own even if its not delicately pasting and relocating text and paper layouts by hand as my father did in his day.

Well, I hope that the talent of design and business sense that my father passed down to me will flourish in my hand with the more I learn. As my skill increases, particularly with the ability to combine media with design, I can utilize it to communicate messages of truth effectively so eyes and hearts can open and awaken maybe for the first time to the timeless truth about how much God loves them through Jesus Christ. If I can accomplish that, I would account that my time learning this new skill will not have been spent in vain.

Most people have just come to know more about Mike Huckabee, let alone his record as Governor of Arkansas. I happened across these videos which talk about the kind of person he was as Governor of Arkansas and decided to post them just so that everyone can see what a good portion of the country TURNED DOWN to be our 44th President of the United States. Its amazing what this man had to deal with as Lt. Governor and then as he was asked to step up to be Governor. Being largely a Democratic controlled state, its truly amazing how a Republican could even win a Lt.Governor’s race let alone become Governor. He was the first Republican Lt. Governor since reconstruction, the 4th Republican Governor and the only Republican Governor that was ever reelected, and that happened twice!

Former Governor Jim Guy Tucker had been implicated in the White Water scandal. He was found not only found to be the financial beneficiary in cases of bribery but was also indicted for obstruction of justice and perjury. The video recounts the minutes leading up to Mike’s initial swearing in and the momentary constitutional crisis that Arkansas experienced as the result of what happened just minutes before the ceremony.

Even if I hadn’t met and had the opportunity to get to know Mike Huckabee years ago when he was running for the U.S. Senate seat from Arkansas, just watching how he handled this crisis would have given me a clue to why this extraordinary person should have been voted in as the Republican Party’s nominee for President. Some people just don’t get it about this man and some don’t want to either. That is one of the reason’s that this man’s candidacy has been purposefully marginalized by the party establishment and by the alternative media because they just think they know what they know and wouldn’t bother to take the time to investigate this man thoroughly before rendering judgment about him.

I have never been more disappointed with media greats like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hanity, Hugh Hewitt, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, and the list goes on. Their reactions and responses during this primary election, just demonstrated such an uncharacteristic lack of character, thoughtfulness and perception. Its as if their media popularity caused them to fall into the all to human weakness of becoming “too big for their britches,” which in my opinion clouded their better judgment, not to even mention the huge conflict of interest that emerged when Romney’s Bain Capital firm in partnership with Thomas H. Lee Partners bought out their benefactor Clear Channel Communications.

I don’t mind when candidates win fair and square but when the process becomes so entangled in manipulation and bias that it hinders a quality Republican candidate like Mike Huckabee from having an equal opportunity, then America has no longer become the “land of opportunity” but has prostrated herself to compromise the very ideals she brags about to the world.

All of this has found its reflection in the moral decline that has infected every walk of life and profession in this country. The idea that everyone can do what is right in their own eyes and there is really not a right or a wrong way unless you’re the one that gets caught has now been fully established within our culture!

The Bible speaks of such a time in the book of Judges, when Israel abandoned their God in favor of embracing what their modern day culture taught and practiced in direct disobedience to God. In chapter 2 it says “After that generation (Joshua’s), another generation grew up who did not acknowledge the Lord or remember the mighty things He had done for Israel.” This generation was never taught about it so they were wide open for anything else. We are living to repeat this same mistake today. An agenda to replace our godly Christian heritage has progressively been established in our news and entertainment media, our universities, our elementary and high schools and in almost every aspect of American society even in our churches. America’s godly heritage which was responsible for what made America great and good has been consistently rewritten out of our text books, courts and legislatures across this land and consequently out of the soul of our nation so that we don’t know who we are or why we are Americans any more. Its purposefully done so that we find our identity in nothing any different from the rest of the world. In fact publishers and authors went to great lengths to make sure that nothing was ever mentioned about the influence of Christian faith in the lives of any legendary figure in American history, science, the arts etc. The humanistic drive to implement a humanistic agenda upon these United States in order to recreate a a purely secular America is what is behind the discrimination and rubbing out of America’s former glory as a nation as founded upon Christianity and the Bible. The “separation of church and state” which we hear so much about is found no where in the constitution but was legally created and implemented out of “thin air” by liberal judges, ruling on the basis of no legal precedent but only by the abuse of their power. This false legality was created for the express purpose of rubbing out Christian expression in the public and political arena. Read the writings of much of our forefathers and the journal accounts of the pilgrims and you will not find atheistic or humanistic ideas there. So its no wonder that history repeats itself but a history that will demand accountability to God for its actions.

God ordained this country for a purpose which will be fulfilled despite its temporary backslidden condition. However, there will come a time of revival across this land, no matter how much humanistic forces try to prevent it from happening. They will not be able to subdue genuine Christian expression from the political or public arena much longer. I believe that we will see a steady return to our Christian roots as a nation, the very foundation that our forefathers laid. For they said that the Constitution that they laid was for a moral and spiritual people and wholly unsuitable for an immoral culture.

PART FOUR

One of the big problems that I have had with the primaries this year is the way its been controlled rather than the way its been allowed to take its course. With the alternative media having been bought and paid for by Romney’s Bain Capital, jumping on the band wagon with an already biased network media, its no wonder that anyone can get a clear look at the candidates. Of course it is natural that everyone has a favorite they want to see win but when the process gets controlled by media who pride themselves on being “King Makers” for the people rather than reporting to the people, that’s when I say that the process is not only being manipulated by the minds of the public are as well. Sure, everyone has a right to appeal and persuade but when they marginalize some candidates so that equal opportunity is removed, that is when they are toying with the process and therefore our democratic system.

No one would think of removing the finish line in a race until it was crossed just as well as no one would think of proclaiming a winner at a football super bowl game or any game for that matter when there is still time left on the clock. So why is everyone rushing to judgment to get Huckabee to get out of the race? After all he has taken the time and made the sacrifices to be in this race along with his supporters. He has a perfect right to still compete for the nomination until its clear that a candidate has reached 1191 votes. What is wrong with that? I’ll tell you what’s wrong with that, nothing! It you are for John McCain of course you don’t want it. It has nothing to do with “party unity.” In the case of the Republican party, it will live and survive. The process was established to allow for competition. Its not as fragile as others are making it out to be. Its only a matter of whose ox is getting gored by circumstances or by our King Makers the media!,

As long as people still have a vote, they have a voice and should not be defrauded by someone taking away the finish line and proclaiming a winner before that tape is broken! We have a wonderful democratic process that if we would just not hinder and manipulate it, it would represent the majority pick but when we try to coerce candidates to step aside in favor of someone who we think is close enough to the goal line, we are engaging in hypocrisy and compromise. These candidates represent different ideas whether popular or not and as long as those ideas have an opportunity to have a voice, they should have a vote as well. That’s the American way. To lie, manipulate, cheat, steal, and control is to reduce the democracy that we are proud of to a third world country status.

This process will be over soon enough so why get angry about a candidate who still thinks he should be in the race? He has just as much of a right to free speech as anyone else. If people would vote their conscience instead of trying to be a prophet, maybe we would end up voting in men and women of integrity into government offices and not just the ones who twist our arm through manipulating the system and the press in order to get our vote. As long as we try to maintain a “win at any cost attitude,” engaging in tactics to run others off the road of democracy, we are not displaying the virtues that have stood for America and made America worthy of God’s Blessing.

Let the democratic process run. Stranger things have happened on the way to the finish line! Who are we to stop the process! Lets stop being fearful and show some faith in the process! For those who have primaries left, vote for the candidate that represents your voice, not for the one you think will win! Lets change our win/lose mentality to bring integrity back to the election process. “WE THE PEOPLE” can stop allowing the media to do our thinking for us! “WE THE PEOPLE” can do better than this. So lets work to get our facts, be properly informed and do our job right and let the process take care of the rest. Things don’t always end the way we think the will!

I have been a conservative for 29 years and have seen a lot of elections, dirty politics, ambitious candidates, and most consistently the Republican establishment. John McCain and Mitt Romney were candidates of the established elite, both insiders, no matter how hard Romney tried to put the sell job on us. Do you want more of this or do you want to make a Texas sized statement?

Remember when Conan O’Brien, and Steven Colbert got into it over “who made Huckabee?” Well lets just take a page from that argument and ask “who made McCain,” and who made Romney?” Well, it was the Republican establishment of course and the well known conservative alternative media pundits. They marginalized and out right lied about our candidate Mike Huckabee’s conservatism so that he would always be in a defensive position, knowing he would have a hard time getting out his message so that their candidate, Romney could win the crown of “Mr. Conservative.” Well the southern primary states took care of that proving who the true conservative was despite the split in conservative votes. Actually the ones truly to blame for splitting the conservative vote were the bought and paid for conservative pundits who became intoxicated with Romney’s love potion! Ergo, they split a conservative vote which should have gone to the true conservative candidate, Mike Huckabee. The party should have recognized or made inquiries about Huckabee when it became apparent that with almost no organization or funding he was able to win the Iowa primary. If the party elites would have dispensed with their usual meddling and scheming and had allowed the political process to work by itself, like its suppose to, the real conservative would have become apparent to everyone. Instead, they crippled the best candidate they had while putting on the “sell job” for the candidate that had the money and the pedigree. This is just more of what conservatives have had to endure with the same established party leadership for decades. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired of this. I am not glad for McCain’s campaign resurgence, but am glad to see their well laid schemes have once again blown up in their faces! Ha! Ha! Now they may be forced to get that giant close pin and hold their nose! Serves them right for their compromising ways which led them to, back a candidate that really wasn’t all that conservative but had all the trappings of money, status, and pedigree! It fits the very thing image that the Republican party is known for, all money and no compassion except when someone like Mike comes along and starts talking compassion. That’s when they label him a democrat just because he is living out his Christianity, something they should be doing with their money! If Romney was such a conservative, why did he cave so quickly to a moderate? Its no doubt because, there has to be something in it for him to justify 45 million dollars of his personal money that was poured into his campaign and thats it! When you compare it with Mike, look how quickly Romney caved the establishment! Yep! If he had become President, he would have caved to the D.C. establishment as well. He was no outsider as he claimed to be!

Looks like the real outsider is Mike Huckabee who has been the one that has been pushed to the outside when he should have been recognized and embraced. But he was poor, and of no great pedigree, being from Arkansas, only a three term governor in a democratically run state who took it from a 250 million dollar deficit to a 850 million dollar surplus. Hmm! Who here really reflects the real executive experience? Romney’s executive experience lasted 1 term as Governor. Otherwise he’s a wheeler dealer who invests and sells companies for a living. No real years of executive experience here! Its been amazing what some conservatives, even evangelicals were willing to rationalize!

As I said, Mike Huckabee was the candidate that all conservatives should have embraced and united behind right away. The problem is that whenever these kind of quality candidates like Mike Huckabee come along, if party elites can’t control them, they snub them! Party leadership really do resemble gambling bookies, trying to decide for the rest of us which candidate, not principals, we should vote for in order to win power for us in Washington D.C. So, if they are willing to be unprincipled in their dealings, how are they different, outside of the party platform, than Democrats, who are willing to do the same thing and worse for power? I feel like Jesus did, when he said “Oh ye of little faith. Why did you doubt?”

I am also a pragmatic person myself, so I understand this mentality of picking a winner. However, I also know that if everyone who is a conservative voted their conscience and voted for the most conservative candidate, he would win! Duh! This pragmatic guessing game that political “King Makers” like to play not only ruins us politically but ruins good candidates and keeps others from coming forward. If good candidates can’t count on conservatives and much of their own party to believe in them and rally to them, why should they make all the sacrifices and run for office?

So, what I am getting at is this. I know there are a lot of conservatives in Texas because I lived in Texas and I was involved in Texas Republican politics. I also know that Texans are very proud of their state, their heritage, and the fact that they once used to be their own country! Yes, that’s right! Texas was like an independent country before it was added to the United States. So, since everything is BIG in Texas, will all you conservatives there make a BIG STATEMENT to John McCain by voting for the true conservative who has been standing for all of us, taking the hits from the cynical media about why he still stays in the race. Its not just because he wants to rally conservatives alone, but because he believes and lives the principles that we as conservatives believe. He has been the one that has been flying the “bold colors” that Ronald Reagan spoke of but no one of importance has been looking, except for when Dr. James Dobson finally woke up from being divided, courtesy of Romney’s withdrawal and endorsed Mike Huckabee, a little too late I might say to do much good.

I am asking you. Will you make the biggest protest yet? By voting for Mike Huckabee, will you tell all the McCainites out there that conservatives are not happy with the way the Republican party has managed things, again? They ruined the congressional elections by staying home and now they are out to ruin the Presidential election into the ground by allowing John McCain to become the Republican nominee with a divided party. Let me say once again! Huckabee didn’t do this, our party leadership did this!

Texas, you don’t have to stand by and watch this happen in your state! Yes, helping Mike Huckabee bring this whole thing to the convention floor is a long shot, but honestly what kind of realistic chances do you see of a John McCain candidacy beating the Democrat nominee in fall ? For a guy who can’t unite the party as it stands, how is he going to get out the vote in the kind of numbers that will match the kind of Democrat voter turn out that we have seen in the Democrat primaries? As it stands right now, that is just as much of a long shot too!

If Mike Huckabee can’t stave off McCain getting his 1,191 delegates, so what? VOTE HUCKABEE ANYWAY! At least by doing so, conservatives can make a BIG statement to McCain that we are a formidable voting block and that we will not be satisfied until he at least makes Huckabee a vice presidential candidate. By making a huge statement like that, maybe conservatives in remaining states will follow suit, sending one message to wit: that conservatives can hold John McCain’s feet to the fire and make sure he does govern to the RIGHT should he become the next president.

Either way, voting for Huckabee is a win, win for us!!! We can all make sure Huckabee takes Texas away from McCain, or we can still make sure that conservatives have a voice. Frankly we owe it to Mike Huckabee and his supporters who have been working their butts off representing conservative evangelicals, taking the criticism, mockery, and disdain for it all!

So what do you say TEXAS? Lets SHOUT and let the party establishment know that we aren’t going to just lay down and take it from the moderates any more!

Vote for Mike, join Mike’s Rangers at www.mikehuckabee.com and lets make some noise! After all, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain! GO EVER READY MIKE GO!

What does the Presidential Election, Mike Huckabee, and 1 Samuel have in common? Answer, a very similar scenario.

Just in case you are not acquainted with the book of 1 Samuel in the Old Testament, Samuel is a prophet of God to the nation of Israel. God has just told Samuel in 1 Samuel chapter 16 verse 1 that Samuel has mourned over Saul the former King of Israel long enough and its time for Samuel to arise, fill his flask with oil and go anoint one of Jesse’s sons whom God has appointed to be the next King of Israel. King Saul had disobeyed God’s word and instructions to him through Samuel regarding the destruction of the Amalekite nation, therefore God told Samuel that He would reject him as King of Israel. Now when Samuel went to Jesse’s house to anoint the next king of Israel, the scripture says that he took one look at Eliab and thought “Surely this is the Lord’s anointed!” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height for I have rejected him.” then the Lord said to him that “People judge by outward appearance but the Lord looks at a person’s thoughts and intentions.” After seven sons had passed before Samuel and Samuel had told Jesse that the Lord had not chosen any one of them, Samuel asked “Are these all the sons you have?” Jesse replied “There is still the youngest, but he is out in the fields watching the sheep.” Samuel asked to send for him at once which they did and as soon as David appeared before Samuel, the Lord said, “This is the one, anoint him.”

As I consider this story from the Old Testament, I see a striking parallels of this story to the way people are choosing which candidates to support in the Presidential primary election on both sides, Republican and Democrat. On the Republican side, party elites, nearly all of the conservative pundits and even some Christian evangelicals emulated Samuel’s first impression with Eliab in their choice of Mitt Romney as their candidate to anoint. They took one look at Romney’s appearance, financial net worth, pedigree and his great sales job on his positions and thought “surely this is my anointed” because even some evangelicals didn’t think about the spiritual implications of putting a Mormon in the White House. It was Romney this and Romney that. The flask of anointing oil was poured for Romney all over the alternative media. Romney accepted and by the time Clear Channel Communications was acquired by his Bain Capital firm, everyone was slipping and sliding on anointing oil for this guy! I had never seen anything like it in alternative media before but alas the flask of anointing oil ran out of ability to convince enough of the conservative rank and file in the party to fall in line so that Romney could prove he was the conservative candidate. Some candidates like McCain, and Giuliani were anointed by lesser crowds in the beginning, but the true conservative that should have been obvious to anoint by the party wasn’t, I personally believe because he was like David, out watching the sheep, garnering his grass roots support base which didn’t appear initially to amount to anything. You know, typically sheep herding was down there with the poorer class which sort of fits the description of Huckabee and bucolically speaking why would have anyone expected Samuel to anoint a shepherd to be the next king of Israel? I think you get the picture, poor class, Arkansas, against the tall, good looking, affluent, business tycoon!

You see, first of all the split that happened when some Christian evangelicals who backed Romney and Giuliani backed out of the race and endorsed McCain is what brought about McCain’s campaign resurrection because it was clear that 2/3 of the party didn’t want to anoint him. But now we have the party establishment slowly moving behind him as the “inevitable” candidate because nobody ever asks committed Christian evangelicals. And besides, where is God in all of this? Enough of our forefathers evidently thought God’s intervention in the affairs of men were important to them that you find references to it throughout their writings and especially in the Declaration of Independence. But since we are so busy as a nation and culture pushing God out of our lives, except of course when disaster strikes, very few ask about where He is in all of this.

Well, He’s where He has always been as is “the same yesterday, today, and forever.” He does have plans for America, especially as the prophetic end times draw closer to the complete unification of Europe and the world under one man called the Anti-Christ, who is alive in the world today. In view of biblical prophecy, I believe that God is extremely interested in who becomes the 44th President of the United States and has already anointed someone, the “shepherd” from Arkansas! And why not? Everything fits the biblical pattern here. This is a person who has been a spiritual shepherd for about 10 years and has forged his communication skills and the ability to interface with just about every kind of personality, but that wasn’t the end of it. He took a struggling church pastorate and turned that church into the first successfully large integrated church in a rural, Southern community that never before accepted such a thing. That is some achievement in the church world! Being one of the very few Republicans in a Democrat-controlled state to be elected Lt Governor is an enormous achievement, in political terms not unlike the accounts of David slaying the lion and the bear, when one considers the strength of the Clinton political machine in Arkansas. Then this man becomes the first Republican governor in a long time due to the present Governor being indicted in the Whitewater scandal, remember that? His accomplishments while in office are amazing considering a Democrat-controlled legislature and the fact that he was reelected twice! Taking a state with bad infrastructure and 250 million dollars in debt to an 850 million dollar surplus by the time he leaves office IS SOMETHING TO BOAST ABOUT! Who really has the big executive accomplishments and experience here? Not only that but he pushes through pro-life legislation, particularly the Arkansas Unborn Child Amendment in a Democratically controlled legislature. Can McCain say that? Could Romney say that? Romney no sooner became Governor of Massachusetts and started making plans to run for the Presidency which has people in his state pretty upset!

If you click the Huckabee FAQ page tab at the top of my blog you will find a list which lists a combination of this man’s accomplishments as well as policy positions. Jesus said that you shall know a good tree by its fruit; that a good tree cannot bear bad fruit and vice versa. This is not only the fruit of a man’s accomplishments but the reflection of a man’s thoughts, character and integrity, that translates into policy and deeds. These are the heart issues that God expresses in scripture that are a priority with Him over and above image, marketing, pedigree, and wealth.

You say what about Obama, he’s a Christian believer. Well lets talk about that for a minute. I believe that God has anointed that man for a different purpose which is already becoming manifest.   God might be using him to politically dismantle the Clinton machine for good and its apparent that it is happening before our eyes!  We will see what happens with the super delegates battle.

But as for Huckabee, he still has some huge battles to fight. He still has a Goliath to slay politically in John McCain’s campaign resurgence, the goal of which is to deprive McCain of his needed delegates in order to force the nomination decision to be made on the convention floor. That is huge! But not so huge if God is in it!

I believe that it is time for every Christian, particularly those who are in primary states that haven’t voted yet, to consider what God is doing and who He has anointed and not what man has anointed from mere appearance. Christian evangelicals need to come home to Mike Huckabee and support what God is doing in this man’s campaign. If you follow the facts of where this man’s campaign started at 0% with virtually no endorsements and financial contributions, you have to stand back in amazement and say that God is in this man’s campaign and although many can’t see where it is leading, those with faith and spiritual discernment can.

Mike Huckabee’s strategy to stay in the race is doing more than just irritating the crud out of John McCain, party elites and media. It is sifting and shaking up the status quo of the Republican establishment which has been operating in the shadows for far too long. Mike’s candidacy is bringing clarity by exposing where true conservatives vs. moderates stand in our party. This is a sea change that not only is good for the party but needs to happen within our party. The party moderate establishment has been enjoying the party strings of control for far too long. Mike’s candidacy is flushing all this out into the open. I have never seen anything like it. Conservative pundits that I once expected and admired have abandoned all good sense and followed the elitist agenda like lambs to the slaughter. Nearly all of them now are at the mercy of Clear Channel Communications, the media outlet purchased by Romney’s Bain Capital investment firm in partnership with Thomas H. Lee Partners. What a huge conflict of interest of late that is controlling the conservative political air waves! For those of us who have daily depended on the alternative conservative media, how are they any different now from the established media that we sought refuge from? They can no longer brag impartiality nor point the finger at CNN types for engaging in media distortion and bias for they now have to deal with a huge conflict of interest that Romney’s Bain Capital brings to their long held credibility. I have nothing against wealth and its influence as long as its for good purposes but when it seeks to manipulate the political process through private acquisition to further ones own campaign, it sends a message to the world that our democracy is no better than that of third world nations who buy and fix their own supposed “free” elections. So its no wonder that conservative media are lining up for the John McCain coronation.

If it weren’t for the Huckabee strategy of staying in the race, conservatives would not have a voice at all to raise against the party establishment who are the real proponents of “class warfare” against Mike Huckabee. These are the ones who will stop at nothing to ensure that a person like Mike, who pulled himself up from poor humble beginnings, doesn’t compete for preeminence with “their” candidates. This party infighting is about money, and status which qualifies acceptance into the elitist club of party control . Mike Huckabee’s determination to campaign on is threatening their nice little election train, something for which I hope derails the plans in which they hold all their hopes. The party elites couldn’t just let the primary process alone to work things out. No, in their arrogance they used the alternative press along with Romney’s negative distortion of the facts to take advantage of ignorance and manipulate their candidate to the forefront high jacking conservative support away from the true conservative in Mike Huckabee to Romney who masqueraded as one. Thanks to their meddling, John McCain whose numbers were cratering at the time was able to take advantage of their foolishness and resurrect his campaign to where it is now. I would say its just recompense for them if it weren’t for the fact that they have messed up the party for everyone else! If anyone is to blame for holding up the party process, it is party elites, whether conservative, moderate conservative or moderate! They arrogantly and stupidly thought they could, once again, shove Romney down conservatives’ throats forcing us into their mold.

Its a repeat sell out that happened in the special Governor’s election in California in which enough Republicans sold out for movie stardom rather than get behind a true conservative candidate which could have won for them but because they had no “faith” they sacrificed not only their principals but their good sense and we in California have been paying for it ever since. Now it is about to happen again on a national scale and I am warning all of you Republicans, friend or foe alike, if you allow it to happen, payback cometh and its judgment draweth nigh!

Now that Romney has endorsed John McCain, his supporters have nothing else they can do but either “hold their nose,” or support Mike but I think some would rather hold their nose and vote for McCain instead of support that “guy from the poor side of town” in Arkansas. Although, equally so, there are those whose eyes have now been opened to who the true conservative was all along as a result of their perceived betrayal by Romney through his endorsement of John McCain. All in all, this could be a repeat of 1976 when Ronald Reagan forced the primary process to the convention floor.

I say if there is a chance for all that to happen, everyone who can’t stand the thought of party moderates manipulating them to vote for John McCain, should protest by supporting Mike’s candidacy which supports the Huckabee strategy to stay in the race! At least it will be a lot more interesting and you can have the satisfaction of knowing that you didn’t have to politically prostitute yourself to McCain like Romney did. In addition you can aid in giving that 2/3 party a voice even if it is a long shot. It didn’t appear to be a long shot when Reagan pulled it off in 1976 which means it can happen again! Republicans who haven’t voted yet have the opportunity to bring it about by supporting Huckabee’s campaign which is why I appreciate that he is still in the race.

John McCain only had 1/3 of the party behind him before Mitt Romney dropped out of the race. John McCain doesn’t have to become the “inevitable nominee” if conservatives come home to Mike Huckabee and prevent it. I for one am not ready to crown John McCain! With the primaries that are still left to be won, it is still conceivable that John McCain could fall just short of the delegates needed if Huckabee can starve McCain of the needed delegates since delegate count is determined through state voting district lines that are drawn not through media estimates.

Republicans shouldn’t have to be manipulated through the methods of party elites to vote for someone like John McCain when 2/3 of party Republicans didn’t want to in the first place. Don’t listen to those that say that we need to get behind McCain so that we can beat the Democrats in the fall. The fact of the matter is John McCain can not beat the Democrats in the fall even if he has to twist the arm of conservatives and give them a close pin to put over their nose! He will never be able to mobilize enough of the party to beat an Obama candidate in the fall. He can only count on a Hillary nomination to do that. The real truth is that Mike Huckabee is the candidate that still exists to do just that. He has defeated the Clinton machine in Arkansas several times and is the only candidate that has the communication skills, the message and the substance to rival an Obama style campaign if we are to have a chance at truly controlling the White House and congress. Party elites duped as many conservatives as they could with the Romney candidacy in order to blind us to the true conservative in Huckabee who should have rightfully expected party establishment support. Perhaps if Huckabee had a Romney fortune behind him, it would have been different! Ergo, why the Huckabee strategy to go it alone with the grass roots has been more of a successful strategy and one that is proving in the long run to brand him as the conservative leader of the Republican Party. He may be the dark horse with a campaign that looks hopeless to many who have lost their ability to trust in faith, principals and hard work but to coin a popular phrase used by a Democratic candidate, “THERE IS NOTHING FALSE ABOUT HOPE.” SO GO EVEREADY MIKE GO!

Take a look at the CPAC speech that was given by Mike Huckabee, Feb. 9th.

It is fabulous! You’ve got to hear it! Conservatives who don’t know Mike need to listen to this speech. The funny thing is most people who finally get a chance to listen to this guy, like what they hear and become a Huck believer too!

Pass this on to your friends and family, especially if they live in primary states like Virginia, Maryland etc that haven’t had their primaries yet.

Don’t buy into the news pundits theories. They have been wrong about their predictions all the time. Mike is a viable choice and like he says we have to stand for what is right with our vote even if we lose, but I don’t think that will happen. Why? Because of GOD! Look at what He has done for Mike already! Its an indication to me that this thing is far from over! I am looking forward to seeing what God is going to do next with this guy!

In view of how badly McCain was beaten in Kansas and then in Louisianna, conservatives are starting to wake up to the idea that MC CAIN IS NOT “INEVITABLE.” Conservatives yet to vote in other primaries: YOU HAVE A CHOICE! If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything. Make your vote count for what is right and not for what is expedient.

People, you have to understand one thing about the news media. They have an editing room floor and a control room. They cut and paste the news so you only see what they want you to see and the president of the network tells them in the control room what to let you see and what not to let you see. Remember that! What’s left out is up to you to find on your own because they are not interested in reporting the news, they want to make the news and they especially want to make this election and tell you who to vote for! But like Mike said in his speech here at CPAC, people don’t want to be told who to vote for. They want to make up their own mind. If you start to understand that one thing, you won’t allow these networks to jack you around anymore.

By the way, a little trivia: If you still feel the need to vote for a “McCain,” vote for Mike Huckabee and it will be a vote for a “McCain” because his wife’s maiden name is McCain (Janet McCain). lol!

Huckabee’s 2008 CPAC Speech

With Romney exiting out of the race for the Republican nomination, it leaves the way open for Huckabee to establish his conservative candidacy and reach out to Romney supporters as the McCain alternative. This new development changes the complexion of the Republican race for the nomination considerably even though McCain has established a formidable lead in delegate count. With Romney out of the race, McCain’s lead many feel is still enough to put a lock on the nomination. Many conservative pundits along with party elitists led a dominating effort to make Romney their nominee and now they have to decide what they believe! Its time for them to decide whether they are going to stand by their principals that they have spent careers espousing on talk radio or are they and their principals are going to fold like a house of cards. Its time for them to decide if they are going to have any faith? Are they going to compromise their principals and do an “Abraham and Hagar” or are they going swallow their pride, get back their faith and do an “Abraham and Issac?” Do they believe in their conservative principals enough to be willing to sacrifice them on the altar prepared for Issac, trusting that God will deliver them and stand by them or are they going to “hold their nose” and compromise for an “Ishmael” by casting their vote for John McCain? Please let me save you the trouble. Compromise over these kinds of things has never brought anything good! Put your principals on the altar, get behind the true conservative, and trust God!!!

Now that Dr. James Dobson has officially come out of the shadows and endorsed Huckabee and the C-Pack convention will be over on Saturday, its time to not jump the gun just because everyone in the media are bailing into the conventional tank of mediocrity. One thing has been over looked about Mike Huckabee that is staring everyone right in the face and that is the fact that Mike won’t quit and get out. Frustrating to many pundits because they are only concerned about how the turn out makes them look but not considering the fact that Huckabee’s refusal to quit now, reflects truly the greatness of this man’s character and the innovation with the way he finds solutions even when things look the worst! Isn’t that kind of attitude that we want in a President? Do we want a quitter for a President? I think Huckabee is realistic enough to realize when it is time to quit but that time has not been reached yet and even though the McCain camp is taking confidence in their sizeable lead of delegates, thinking as the media does, that there is no way that Mike can catch up with him. Not so fast! The jury is still out! There’s still time! There are still states left to win!

Mean while I encourage you to take a second look at Mike Huckabee. I am enclosing a series of links that will give you the truth about Mike Huckabee. There is more to this man than what those have told us who have only scratched the service as you will see if you will put aside your preconceived ideas and just look and read!

The Mike Huckabee Story - scroll down to Youtube player. Several parts, allow player a few seconds to reset and replay. Should do it automatically.

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee comes away with five states to add to his column giving him a total of six states. Nobody was ready to give him more than just an Arkansas win tonight, which is his home state. For all the talk that he was irrelevant and he should get out of the race, he and his grass roots conservative support demonstrated tonight that he is still very relevant and in fact a candidate that can win! A “Cinderella Man” story that is still a long way from a “happily ever after,” shows that its just amazing how a candidate like this has come this far on such a meager campaign budget compared with his other two candidates. How did he do it? It was all about his dedicated grass roots support and a message that resonated with the majority that heard it. Because the Romney campaign bought the “printing press” (Clear Channel Communications), all the well known conservative pundits were busy “puffing” him and just ignoring Mike Huckabee in the hopes that he would go away, or do so badly he would just drop out. In fact they went out of their way to marginalize Huckabee and make him look irrelevant in order to capture the conservative vote. Well its nice to know that some things still can’t be bought.

In his speech tonight Mike Huckabee referred to his success on such meager resources as the widow’s mite which proved to be more effective than all the gold in the world, obviously implying Romney’s riches that were poured into this race. The success he is enjoying tonight is further due to what Huckabee said was the fact that the people have spoken and said “this is our election not theirs. This is our vote, not theirs and this is our presidency, not theirs.” Mike also referred to the fact that the people now have a “choice and a voice.”

I believe that people never had a bonafide chance to know this man and when they did get a chance to listen they liked what they heard. Its obviously resonated so well that tonight’s success is the result. I personally believe that we are going to see a repetition of this sort of occurrence as people get the opportunity to listen and know this man, unfettered by the loud noise coming from the “printing press” that had almost drowned him out.

Mike still believes that the strength of this country is in the people and is determined to prove that the presidency can “still belong to the people.” Here is Super Tuesday’s speech below and a song of thanks to his supporters.

So are you ready to find out more about what makes this guy tick?

Super Tuesday show down is tomorrow. What the media tried to marginalize as a two man race in order to shut down candidate Mike Huckabee’s race from getting any votes, may come back to haunt them.

It reminds me of Commodus in Gladiator when he comes out the second time after trying to plot the murder of Maximus in the arena and says “No matter what I do, you just simply won’t die.” Well, no matter what the media has tried to do to kill Huckabee’s campaign, his campaign simply won’t die! His dedicated grass roots support “simply” won’t go away and he is gaining financial support and endorsements da
y by day. Sean Hanity even tried to get Newt Gingrich to tell Mike Huckabee to get out of the race but instead Newt Gingrich rebuked Sean Hannity two times about it and told him that Huckabee will be the “power broker” of the convention. See following quote and link:

“Will Governor Huckabee have to drop out if he doesn’t have the majority of the delegates after the Super Tuesday election?

“No! This Tuesday will be a victory for Governor Huckabee any way you look at it. He will win delegates this Tuesday, and he doesn’t have to win the most delegates to stay in the race. He needs only to win enough delegates to make it to the Republican National Convention this fall. It is likely that Huckabee, McCain and Romney will all enter the Convention this fall, none of them having the majority of the delegates required to win the nomination. All of the delegates will then have to cast ballot after ballot after ballot until some one emerges as the nominee. It could be Huckabee! Want proof that Gov. Huckabee is viable? When Sean Hannity attempted last week to get Newt Gingrich to tell Gov. Huckabee to “drop out,” Newt rebuked Hannity (twice!) on the air, saying that Gov. Huckabee will be the “power broker” at the Convention this fall! In the early days of the GOP, there are many instances where multiple ballots were taken to decide who was the party’s nominee, when no candidate came into the convention with a majority of the delegates: At the 1860 convention, Lincoln won on the 4th ballot; In 1876, Rutherford B. Hayes won on the 7th ballot; In 1881, Garfield won on the 36th ballot (wow!); and at the 1888 convention, Benjamin Harrison was nominated on the 9th ballot. Each of these GOP nominees went on to win the Presidency that year. As Governor Huckabee has said, “We are going nine full innings.” And, I am confident, if we all work hard in each of those innings, we will nominate Governor Huckabee as our next President of the United States!
